"Marvin the Caterpillar Finds True Love" is a serial picture book I wrote this past summer while at a dance program. We were living in a dorm, and our RA had a sharpie and paper on her door so we could leave her notes. Completely by accident, I drew the first Marvin:
and captioned him. The next day saw the creation of his love interest Luna:
and the story evolved from there. It became quite a thing. People on my floor were always coming up to me and telling me how much they liked Marvin and would I please hurry up and finish it!
